About Nate’s Detroit Pizza
Serving authentic Detroit pizza made with hand m-cut mozzarella, fresh tomato sauce and fermented dough.
Nate’s Detroit Pizza is a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 451 Court St, Brooklyn, NY 11231, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (347) 294-4679. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is natesdetroitpizzany.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 266 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn and suggests consistent service.
Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

pizza was delicious. would come again. initially wanted to try lucali but there was a 3 hour wait when there was two empty tables and nobody in line. i’m glad we ended up leaving and trying this gem. Jay gave friendly service and suggested the hot honey sauce to my boyfriend and he loved it.

Always really good food and I wanted to try something new but did not wanna order a whole plate. The owners and staff hooked me up with two toasted raviolis to try and men. They are delicious. Definitely worth a pick up with every order.

I stopped by following an italian food blogger advice. My girlfriend and I shared a medium size cheese pizza. The pizza is very crunchy and tasty without feeling heavy at all. As an italian, it is the best pizza I’ve had in NY, by far! Nate’s very kind and welcoming, I’ll be back when I can.

We got there around 1:30pm on a Saturday and it was not busy at all (just us another customer). The tried the cheese and the hot honey squares. Don't over order, while the square seems quite small, it packs a lot of flavor and will fill you up more than you expected. You can always order more if you need to. The crust was super crispy and tasty for both. But the tomato sauce on cheese square was too overpoweringly sour to our liking. The hot honey square, on the other hand, hit the spot. The spiciness and the sweetness of the honey balanced out the tomato sauce perfectly. We definitely return to get the hot honey squares again!

Soild good nyc pizza place. So many pizzeria around the neighborhood btw. Way better than the same block f&f pizzeria 🤫 My friend and I had the shrimp scampi, cheese, and Hawaiian slice. Hawaiian one indeed is the best pineapple pizza I ever had 🤩 We asked the staff to cut slices in half. All tasted great. We met the boss, Nate, such a great passionate guy.
